Presentation on healthy indoor air quality at
Gaia's Bounty, 322 South Main Street in Pine Island from 6:30 - 9:30 PM.
Oram will be presenting with Char Tarashanti, Certified Feng Shui Consultant of Rochester
(507-289-0720). This is the final in a three-part series entitled, "Healthy Home equals
Happy Home." Char will first present information on Feng Shui, followed by Oram discussing
an aspect of Building BiologyTM.
In this meeting, Char will describe the process of space clearing to rid an environment
of negative energy. Oram will cover ways to make your indoor air more healthy, from preventing
and eliminating mold to healthy laundry and cleaning products, flooring and heating and
cooling systems.
Oram will be available for consultations in the Rochester and southeastern Minnesota area
for one to two days following the presentation. (He can also return on
a later date if that works out better for the client's schedule.)

The lecture will be presented on the
Sustainability Stage in the Progress Center, the former
Wonders of Technology building, located in the northeast corner of the

buildings from the Feng Shui perspective. Oram will cover ways to design and build or remodel a
home in a healthy way. The lecture will cover healthy, "breathable" envelope (wall and foundation)
construction that avoids mold, as well as nontoxic paints, flooring and cabinetry.

The lecture will cover our profession's approach to walls, foundations,
slabs and roofs and how our approaches differ from the stud frame and
batt insulation construction of today.
The walls we recommend avoid mold, are healthy, and have great thermal performance.
This material is covered in a manual Oram has written for and with George Swanson of Austin,
Texas on non-toxic, breathable envelopes. A pre-publication version of the manual will

Northland Bioneers Conference,
a three day educational event held at the Minneapolis Community Technical College.
The Bioneers, now in its seventeenth year,
is an annual conference held in San Rafael, California. Minneapolis was one of sixteen
satellite locations throughout the country to hold the event, beaming in four hours of
plenary sessions per day from California with nationally known speakers. Our Minneapolis
conference also had local speakers, workshops and entertainment. Oram is a member of the
organizing committee for the local event.
